Accessibility on Campus
This map displays a wheelchair-accessible route across the university campus. A click on the symbols shows where wheelchair ramps, elevators, accessible toilets and dedicated parking spaces are situated. Depending on your needs, specific symbol groups can be blended in or out via the layer menu (icon in the upper right corner). The campus map with accessibility information is also available for download as a PDF document.
Our advice service offers further important information for students with disabilities or chronic illness.
University Library
Passau University Library endeavours to enable people with disabilities to use its collections and services as independently as possible. Due to structural conditions, however, not all areas are wheelchair-accessible. If you have any questions or require assistance, please contact the counter staff in the relevant reading room.
The University Library offers students with disabilities an extended lending service for the reading room stock, reading devices, standing workstations, table tops that can be borrowed and low-irritation workstations. For more information on the individual services, please visit the University Library website.
Parking Facilities on Campus
Students who, by definition, are not authorised to park, may nevertheless be granted access authorisation in exceptional cases. This is possible, for example, for severely disabled persons whose mobility is restricted, as well as for students who are caring for and raising a child who is disabled or has not yet reached the age of ten at the beginning of the respective semester. Please submit the application online to the Servicebüro Liegenschaften. Please submit the relevant supporting documents.
