What to do if you lose your CampusCard or if it stops working
Blocking your card
If you lose your card or if the card becomes defective, you can request a new card in the card portal. When you apply for a replacement card, your old CampusCard is automatically blocked. The refectory/cafeteria payment function of your card can be deactivated by staff of the 'Mensacard office' of the Student Services Association, located in the Library Building across from the refectory main entrance. Both blocks become effective on the following working day at the latest.
The card’s payment function for vending machines is excluded from blocking. Please contact the Mensacard office directly.
A blocked card can be reactivated only by the Card Office of the Student Registration Office (room 004, Administration building). Please note that the old CampusCard cannot be reactivated once a replacement card has been issued.
If you have a problem with a CampusCard function, you should contact the following:
- Printer/copier function: the Copy Centre in the Business and Administration building, Innstrasse 27
- Refectory/cafeteria payment function: the Mensacard office in room 163, Central Library building, Innstrasse 29
- Locker access: the staff in the respective library
- Building access: the staff in the respective building
What if you have lost your CampusCard? Lost and found student CampusCards are forwarded directly to the Student Registration Office, who will contact you by e-mail.
