CampusCard for university staff • University of Passau

University staff are issued the staff version of the CampusCard. The following groups will receive a CampusCard:

Staff
Sessional lecturers ('Lehrbeauftragte')

Card functions

Time recording

All academic support staff must record their working hours using the BayZeit attendance system.

Payment function

Cash-to-card machines, where you can top up the catering balance on your CampusCard, can be found throughout the campus. To top up your balance, hold the card up to the reader and insert a euro note into the banknote receiver. Please keep holding your card against the reader until you see the new balance on the screen. The catering payments function is activated when you top up your balance for the first time.

University library user card

Every personalised CampusCard has a university library user number printed on the back. Using this number you can borrow books from Passau University Library, order interlibrary loans and log in at the library catalogue stations in the reading rooms.

Building/locker access function

You need a CampusCard for all locking and access systems. Once you have received your CampusCard you will be able to use it as of the following business day.

Locker use is enabled by default; you do not need to apply for this function to be enabled. However, a separate application and activation are required for all other functions.

You will find electronic lockers in the following buildings:

Computer Science and Mathematics Faculty Building (IM, Innstrasse 33)
Juridicum Building (JUR, (Innstrasse 39)
Nikolakloster Building (NK, Innstrasse 40)
Business and Economics Faculty Building (WIWI, Innstrasse 27)
Central Library Building (ZB, Innstrasse 29)

You will only be granted access to the training areas once you have registered for recreational sports ("Hochschulsport") and the respective sports course.
